| Dai An, known as largest and the most modern industrial zone of Hai Duong province, lies beside the Western urban area. It has 170.82 hectares in area and is expected to be widened with more 600 hectares. |

| On March 3, 2006, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province organized a 5-year Review Meeting of implementing Instruction No 58/CT-TW dated October 10, 2000 of the Politburo on pushing up application and development of information technology (IT) for the work of industrialization and modernization. | The demand for electricity in Hai Duong province has been higher and higher for the past years. Electricity output of the whole province was 518.5 million kwh in 2001. It reached to 973 million kwh in 2005, making an increase of 14% per year averagely. |
